Gowex takes Internet to the Mountain range de Avila
Thanks to the initiative de Gowex, in collaboration with the delegation de Avila, eleven localities de the Mountain range de Avila, where the broadband by means de ADSL does not arrive, they already have connection to Internet by means de a radio network wifi.
Agustín González, president de the delegation de Avila, indicated that it is a pioneering project in a zone de the province where extraordinary orographic difficulties exist. The President de the delegation explained that this innovating project will suppose that the inhabitants de these localities can accedar to the network with a novel rural system de wifi.
This novel initiative de Gowex and the delegation de Avila began prior to the project de the Meeting de Castile and Leon to take the broadband to all the places de the Independent Community from Leon Castelleano.
The delegation de Avila has presented/displayed in San Juan de the Elm tree this initiative, for which an investment de 214,499 Euros has been necessary, de which 70% have been contributed by the Foundation for the Local development de Asocio de Avila and the rest by the provincial institution.
Jenaro Garci'a, President de Gowex, informed that in the localities that already have Internet it has applied wireless equipment with wireless technologies, transferring the signal by means de antennas from Madrid, to defer broadband to more than 2,000 people than they live in the zone and to the tourists de the lodgings de rural tourism.
The president de Gowex explained much more that the access to Internet will be very economic and that will only have consists de twelve Euros, cheap that with other companies and in addition has the same volume de slope and ascent. Jenaro Garci'a showed its confidence in being able to transfer this extraordinary project to other zones de the province de Avila. Gowex is an important Spanish company de telecommunications that wifi for cities works in networks and its success has even been exported outside our borders in countries like Panama that at the moment is being convertiendo like one de the advanced nations more technologically in Central America.
The past Thursday 3 de April was realized the pertinent tests.
