The operators de movable telephony remain without numbers

The operators de movable telephony face an unexpected problem: the numeration. The amount de telephone numbers that can never assign to their clients had supposed an authentic problem, although from always it has constituted a little resource or, at least, limited.
Nevertheless, in the last months, the Commission de the Market de Telecomunicaciones (CMT), the police de the sector, has hardened considerably the conditions to assign blocks de numbers to the operators. Both main groups de the sector, Movistar and Vodafone, have seen how the regulator has decided, with few months de difference, to say to them that not when one de the essential raw materials de their business has requested him.
The refusal to Vodafone took place in July de 2008 and the one de Movistar in October. In addition, at the end de the past January the CMT, reiterated their refusal to assign new blocks de telephone numbers to Movistar, before the replacement resource that had presented/displayed the branch de the Spanish giant.
Better use
The argument de the regulator to deny the allocation de new blocks is that the operators still have a sufficient volume like continuing with their activity to the rate de foreseeable growth without they face restrictions in his commercial activity for that reason. Premature exhaustion
But the CMT is very clear.
