The CMT will allow the promotions in the quota de installment de Telephone
The Commission de the Market de Telecomunicaciones (CMT) will allow that Telephone it can reduce de temporary form the quota de installment (the monthly tariff that is pleased by the access to the telephone line), although these promotions will have to reach to all the national territory, without the possibility de carrying out geographic reductions or by zones. The CMT has decided to impose these obligations within the framework de the analysis de the retail market de access to the wire net fixes approved to the last session de the Council.
In order to avoid excessive prices in this quota, the CMT will continue fixing a price maximum, that calculates by means de formula IPC X. The CMT determines the value de the X, that is to say, what can increase to every year the quota de installment. Besides fixing that price maximum de the quota, the Commission will continue reviewing the promotions de Telephone before its exit to the market to avoid narrowing de margins, abusive packings or other anticompetitive practices.
As it already advanced in his proposal de 2008 July, the CMT has decided to deregulate the quota de connection (the tariff that is pleased a unique time when discharging from the hospital telephone new line). The CMT considers that sufficient incentives in the market exist so that the operators reduce this tariff and prode de it is the constant promotions on the discharge that are defered.
